Terms of Service
Last updated August 7, 2026
Jobspar is the automated office for a solo trades contractor — your inbox, estimates, invoices, and schedule in one place. These Terms explain what Jobspar does and does not do, the role you play in reviewing every AI-drafted message before it goes out, how payment terms work today and in the future, and the fact that your business data stays yours to export at any time.
1. What Jobspar is and who these Terms cover
Jobspar is an automated office built for the solo trades contractor — the plumber, electrician, HVAC tech, roofer, landscaper, or similar one-person shop who runs their own business. The Service helps you triage your inbox, draft replies to customers, turn notes and photos into estimates, send invoices and payment links, and keep your schedule and reminders on track. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Jobspar. By creating an account, signing in, or otherwise using the Service, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. How we may update these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. For material changes we will give you at least 14 days’ notice by email or by an in-product notice before the change takes effect. Continued use after the effective date means you accept the updated Terms.
3. What Jobspar does
Jobspar acts as your automated office. It triages your inbound messages with AI, drafts replies for your review, turns your job notes and photos into estimates you can send to customers, sends invoices and payment links, and keeps your schedule and reminders organized so jobs do not fall through the cracks.
In plain English, the Service is a single place to handle the day-to-day back-office work of a one-person trade — inbox, estimates, invoicing, scheduling, and follow-ups — so you can spend more of your day on the work you actually do.
4. What Jobspar does not do
Jobspar is a software tool, not a professional service provider. It is not a licensed contractor, tradesperson, or service business itself; it does not perform work for your customers and does not stand behind the work you do. It is not a tax preparer or accountant; it does not file your taxes, prepare your bookkeeping, or give you tax, accounting, or financial advice. It is not a payment rail; it does not move money itself and it is not a bank. It is not a source of legal or financial advice. And it is not a system for storing regulated personal information beyond the ordinary customer contact details you keep on your trade’s customers.
5. Your responsibility for AI-drafted customer messages
Anything Jobspar drafts on your behalf — replies to customer questions, follow-ups, estimates pulled from your notes and photos, invoice lines, and scheduling reminders — is a DRAFT for you to review before it is sent. You stay in control of what goes out under your business name and what your customers see. You should read every draft, edit it where it does not match what you would actually say, and send it only when you are satisfied it is right.
If you turn on any auto-send feature, you are choosing to let a draft go out without your final review. Use that setting only when you are confident of what the Service will produce, and turn it off the moment you are in doubt. The message, the offer, and the relationship with your customer are yours — Jobspar is the tool you use to draft them, not the party that stands behind them.
6. Payment terms
Jobspar is free to use today. If we ever introduce a paid tier, the price, what is included, and the billing cycle will be shown to you clearly before you are charged. Payments for any paid tier will be processed by Stripe, a third-party payment processor, and never by us directly. We will not store your full card number; Stripe handles your payment details under its own security practices and tells us only what we need to identify your payment method and reconcile receipts.
7. Data ownership
Your business data belongs to you. That includes your customer list, your estimates, your invoices, your job photos, your message templates, your scheduling data, and anything else you put into the Service. We store it on your behalf only so the Service can run for you — we do not sell it, share it for advertising, or treat it as ours to license.
You can export your business data at any time from inside the dashboard. If you ever need something the dashboard cannot produce, email the address in the Contact section and we will help you get your data out.
8. Acceptable use
Use Jobspar only for the legitimate business of your own trade — talking to your own customers, sending your own estimates and invoices, and running your own schedule. Do not use the Service to send spam, to harass or defraud anyone, to distribute illegal content, to try to reverse-engineer or resell the Service, or to interfere with its security. We may suspend accounts that violate this section, with or without notice, depending on what happened.
9. Termination
You can stop using the Service at any time — either close your account from the dashboard, or simply stop using it. We may suspend access if you breach these Terms or if the law requires us to do so. We may also discontinue the Service; if we do, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to export your data before it goes away.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is." We do not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we do not warrant that any AI-drafted output it produces — replies, estimates, invoice lines, reminders — will be accurate or fit for your purposes. You are responsible for reviewing every draft before you rely on it or send it. Nothing in these Terms turns Jobspar into a licensed contractor, accountant, lawyer, or financial advisor for you or for your customers.
